Grand Blanc's Own Auto Repair, Grand Pointe
Dan Polzin, Highly skilled Master Technician, there's not an inch of engines and vehicles he's unfamiliar with. He is our own Tony Stark, (minus the billions). He's building a jet propulsion suit! He often shows up for work with an Iron Man mask on, we're all fooled for a second, then realize "It's Dan"!! Dan enjoys watching sports from his man cave and the stadium benches, he would like to see the entire world one day (maybe that jet suit will come in handy). He very much enjoys fixing vehicles and getting them to run correctly, but he says he is looking forward to retiring so he can continue building his jet suit to take him around the world! Some of our customers have noticed by now that this guy has been shuttle driving them lately. That's right, Dan is no longer turning wrenches for the shop. We had a driver Scott, that was retiring. Dan had reached a limit of where he decided he was done with that part of his life. Being such a great part of the team we wanted to keep him around and he wanted to stay! So yeah, Dan is now one of the Grand Pointe shuttle drivers.
Pressley Holmes, A no Non-sense Master Technician, loves getting into his work, literally this guy is covered in grease from head to toe by 8:30 am (just kidding). Sometimes you'll find him doing yard work or spending time with his family! Pressley is another one of this Grand Pointe bunch that wants to travel and see as much of the world as he can. He likes a challenge and has plans to rebuild an old truck to travel the world in!
Hayden Ramm, on Grand Pointe's service advisor team. Hayden is knowledgeable and friendly and very customer focused. A bit of a jokester he likes to pull pranks and answer all his coworkers with sarcasm. He looks forward to one day being able to open up his own junk yard. But he has a twist to the traditional "junk yard", his would not only include used automobile parts and mud he will also have all varieties of junk people can come buy; old toys, storage space buy out items, rejected expired Japanese candy, old bed springs, you name he wants it in his yard preventing the grass from growing, so he can stop grumbling about mowing it! While he is waiting for you to come pick through his junk, he'll be sitting in his office, feet on the counter watching television, his favorite invention this century. He's been mesmerized with it since he was old enough to be locked in a gaze with it. Pretty much as far back as he can remember. He's here to help you in any way he can to get your vehicle back on the road and to keep you moving, but he's is looking forward to the junkyard days!
Derrick Miller, an incredible Service Manager! Derrick is highly knowledgeable in all things auto repair! He is very passionate about automotive technology. Loves car shows, race cars, looking good at the front counter as well as helping you better understand what your car is telling us! He is a fun and loving husband and father and loves spending time with his family. In his spare time he's Mr. Fixit around his home, doing updates and repairs, then repairing his updates! He's also into military "anything", so if you're a military enthusiast, you've got a comrade to chat it up with while you’re here. Derrick plans to buy a travel trailer and show his daughter and son this great country!
